3.rookie(n.)新手

4.outcome(n.)結果；效果
-->a result or effect of an action, situation, etc.
ex:It's too early to predict the outcome of the meeting.

5.emerge(v.)(尤指經過審查或訊問後)為人知曉、顯露
-->to become known, especially as a result of examining something or asking questions about it
ex:The facts behind scandal醜聞 are are sure to emerge eventually.

6.grit(n.)勇氣；毅力
-->courage and determination despite difficulty
ex:It takes true grit to stand up to a bully.

7.stamina(n.)耐力；持久力
-->the physical and/or mental strength to do something that might be difficult  and will take a long time
ex:The triathlon鐵人三項賽 is a great test of stamina.

8.sprint(n.)(短距離)全速奔跑
-->a very fast that someone makes when they are in a great hurry to get somewhere
ex:He suddenly broke into(=started) a sprint.

9.questionnaire(n.)問卷
-->a list of questions that several people are asked so that information can be collected about something
ex:Visitors to the country have been asked to fill in a detailed questionnaire.

10.commitment(n.)必須做(或處理)的事情
-->something that you must do or deal with that takes your time
ex:family/work commitments

WageningenX: NUTR101x Nutrition and Health: Macronutrients and Overnutrition The reason why I chose this course was that "You are what you eat". So, I wonder how the food we eat will change our body and our health. Then, I watched a video "Weight gain and loss". It told us that the more weight you loss, the less energy intake you get.
